About the Project

The School of Life Sciences at Keele University is inviting applications for a fully funded PhD studentship to undertake a collaborative project between Keele University and the research laboratories of Brightwater-Research that will use various techniques including cell culture, ligand binding and inhibitor studies through to NMR and x-ray crystallography analysis, to characterise structurally the interactions and binding properties of the EWS-FLI1 fusion protein associated with Ewing sarcoma. While the student will be situated at Keele University, some of the research will be done at Shrewsbury laboratories of Pathway Intermediates and Brightwater Research, depending on the progress of the experiment.
