About the Project
The aim of this PhD is to optimise current manufacturing processes. Processes may be simulated by means of systems thinking/dynamics (SD). SD is supported by simulation software such as STELLA or VENSIM which will be used in this project. The main objective of this project will be to model a to-be-chosen manufacturing process with relevant variables (to be investigated) and analyse the prospective outcome after having "trained" the model with current data. In view of the outcome, there will be the possibility of proposing key decisions for the optimisation and improvement of the process.
