The application of a lifestyle intervention for individuals newly diagnosed with Stroke

Project Description

This project will focus on the feasibility testing of an intervention for individuals who are newly diagnosed with a stroke. The position will be based out of Birmingham but will be associated with researchers based in Oxford and supported by the clinical expertise developed from a therapy centre in Europe. The project will look to apply a programmed developed within Parkinson’s for people with a stroke. The opportunity will consider the development and pilot/feasibility testing of the programme which will be peer led.

Funding Notes

This is a self funded PhD only and there will be requirement for bench fees of around 5k to support the implantation of the program. T
