People living with low vision have difficulty with a number of aspects of their vision, one of which is the ability to see things in depth. The impact of this on their day-to-day lives is poorly understood at present but may affect how well they can judge the distance between objects, potentially putting them at an increased risk of falls. This project will aim to investigate depth judgements under a variety of conditions so that we can better understand the problems that patients with low vision face and develop strategies to assist them.
