The Mullon lab in the Department of Ecology and Evolution at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, is a PhD student to develop new theory in evolutionary genetics and evolutionary ecology. The projects is flexible and will relate to understanding the genetic and ecological bases of variation in quantitative traits, with specific interest in social traits, such as aggression, cooperation, resource utilization or mating behavior.
Expected start date: 01.03.2020 or to be agreed
Contract length: The initial contract is for one year and is extendable to a total of 4 years.
Activity rate: 80-100%

Candidates need to have a Master’s degree in a relevant area before the start date of their position. Successful candidates will have experience in mathematical or computational modeling, and a keen interest in ecology and evolution. A high level of written and spoken English proficiency is required.
