About the Project

Aim of Studentship
To reduce the incidence and severity of postharvest discoloration in celery by better understanding the physiological and metabolomic mechanisms involved in this disorder.

The studentship will build on previous work conducted at Cranfield University and elsewhere and will aim to reduce the incidence and severity of postharvest discoloration in celery by better understanding the physiological and metabolomic mechanisms involved in this disorder. The studentship will be based within the Plant Science Laboratory at Cranfield University, but will also work closely with industry representatives and growers in the UK.

Funding Notes
