About the Project

The research project seeks to have a dual focus and develop previous research by the team related to (a) better understanding young people’s behaviour in the context of ‘online grooming’, and (b) identifying key requirements for the development of effective interventions with the aim to mitigate and prevent offline harm.

Funding Notes

We welcome applications from Home/EU and overseas students. The University of Birmingham offers a number of competitive scholarships for students of the highest calibre. Students are also welcome to apply with their own funding for this project, either through their own personal funds or by securing a scholarship.
