Cass Business School at City University London invites outstanding students to apply for the full-time PhD Program in Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance and Management starting September 2016. Full scholarships, including a fee waiver, will be offered to successful candidates.
As part of our growth strategy we have hired several world-class faculty members across all areas of actuarial science, accounting, finance and management. This has helped to establish Cass as a centre of excellence, complementing our location in the heart of the City of London. We offer a stimulating learning and research environment, and a reinvigorated PhD program. The first year of the PhD comprises a rigorous set of examined courses in the key discipline fields. Upon the successful completion of these courses students start to conduct research projects under faculty supervision while continuing their development with advanced field courses, training in learning and teaching, and access to world-leading scholars who present at our weekly research seminars.
Applications are sought from exceptional UK and overseas graduates and will be given to students on the basis of outstanding academic achievement and research potential in the following subject areas:
