Newcastle - Singapore Studentships 2017

Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering

£400,000 Newcastle University PhDs in collaboration with NUS, NTU and A*STAR in Singapore

We are inviting applications from outstanding UK/EU and International students for our 2017 Singapore Studentships.

  • 5 funded PhD Studentships available for 2017 entry
  • £20,000 per year for a maximum of 4 years
  • Contributes towards PhD tuition fees, living costs and 1 return flight to Singapore each year
10 funded PhDs

Research Themes

If successful, you will be funded to work alongside other researchers on a PhD research project in one of our 6 strategic research themes. These themes are:

  • Ageing and Digital Technologies
  • Computing Science especially Cyber Security and Visualisation
  • Sustainability including Energy and Water
  • Electrical Power
  • Marine Science and Technology
  • Physics
