    A range of Birkbeck-funded studentships and bursaries are available as well as studentships from a range of other sources.
  • Your own source of funding
    Birkbeck accepts students who have identified their own sources of funding with applications considered throughout the year. We welcome applications for flexible and part time modes of study in line with our history and traditions.
  • UK PhD Loans
    Beginning in 2018 the UK Government is introducing doctoral loans of up to £25,000 for PhDs and equivalent postgraduate research programmes. The loans will not be means-tested.
