INFECTION, IMMUNITY AND INFLAMMATION

Programme Structure

The first year of training involves 3 practical mini-projects selected by the students as well as literature-driven in-depth analyses of research topics relevant to the overall themes of the Programme. At the end of the first year students choose a supervisor for their 3-year PhD project and write a research proposal. Before the 2nd academic year commences, students are formally assessed for a Master degree on the basis of their research proposal and a portfolio of written and practical laboratory projects.

Further Information and How to Apply

A starting stipend of approximately £19,919 per annum is offered. The studentships also include research consumables, a small travel allowance and College and University fees at the UK/EU rate.
