- Decision-support software tools and algorithms to support production planning, portfolio management and supply chain management for targeted medicines
- Manufacturing process, analysis and control innovations that will potentially lead to lower cost of goods, or improved process control for products targeted to stratified populations
- Process, design, composition and analytical innovations addressing challenges associated with the formulation of stratified protein medicines
- Process, design, control and analytical innovations for T-cell manufacturing
PhD projects are suitable for candidates with a good first degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, computer science, chemistry, biochemical engineering, and chemical engineering.
Studentships will be based across UCL in addition to one or more collaborative partners of the Centre, which currently include Aston University, University of Birmingham, University of Cambridge, University of Delaware (USA), DeMontford University, Imperial College London, University of Hertfordshire, University of Leeds, University of Lancaster, University of Manchester, University of Strathclyde, University of Warwick and University of Western Australia.
