About the Programme

Are you a university lecturer looking to gain a PhD and develop your skills in teaching and learning?
Our PhD Plus programme can help you do this at no additional cost.

WHAT IS PHD PLUS?
Our PhD Plus programme is specially designed for individuals teaching in universities outside of the UK who are looking to develop their skills and experience. This enhanced PhD programme offers participants the chance to gain an insight into teaching and learning within the UK Higher Education sector, and undertake specialist training, whilst simultaneously pursuing PhD study.

WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY
“All PhD students who are lecturers in their home institutions would benefit from this golden opportunity”. Shakirat Ibrahim, PhD graduate in Agricultural Economics.
“I gained a real experience of the British teaching culture”. Michael Dzandu, PhD student in the Henley Business School.
“I was introduced to novel teaching techniques, methodologies and practices, which I could compare and contrast with those in my home country and learn from good practice. This will be immensely beneficial for my teaching in the years to come.” Menuka Udugama, PhD student in Agriculture.
