About the Programme

Lincoln International Business School is offering 4 graduate teaching assistantship (GTA) bursaries to support new PhD students starting in September 2017. Successful candidates will receive an annual stipend bursary of £14,510 in addition to the payment of fees (capped at the UK/EU rate) for 3 years. Additional funding to cover associated research costs will be available.

Students will be required to undertake up to 6 hours per week of undergraduate teaching in the School as a condition of their GTA. This will primarily take the form of seminars. Professional development will be provided to support teaching.

Research proposals in the areas listed below are welcome:
Economics: Empirical research into trade, labour, and industrial organization applying microeconomic analysis techniques including behavioural models and game theory.
Enterprise: Anticipating the potential of digital business models and new digital applications
Leadership in Responsible Management: A particular focus on community development in South East Asian countries would be particularly desirable.
Food Supply Chains: Collective Action and competitiveness within sustainable agro-food supply chains, focusing particularly on networks and smaller agro-food businesses.
International Business: Growth and internationalisation challenges of SMEs in less favourable market environments
Sustainable Development in Responsible Management: Exploring transformative activities and evaluating the impact of the sustainability agenda on business management and performance.

Entry requirements
All applicants must have a Master's qualification. International students are welcome to apply with a minimum IELTS 7.0 (or equivalent approved English language qualification).
