Research opportunities in Health Economics

York is at the forefront of the study of health economics. Health economics informs how we make difficult decisions about prioritising resources, and helping people to live longer and healthier lives.

Research students in health economics at York are based in Centre for Health Economics, the Department of Economics and Related Studies or the Department of Health Sciences. You'll undertake a comprehensive training programme to make sure you have the skills you need to become an effective researcher.

We offer two research degree programmes:

PhD in Health Economics and Integrated PhD in Economics (Health Economics Pathway)
