About the Project

We invite proposals from potential doctoral candidates focused on how inclusive education in schools is influenced by social justice..

You may consider in your proposal the influence that social class, social disadvantage, heritage and gender, may have on social justice and education. The lead supervisor for this EU/UK funded studentship is Associate Professor Dr Sally Elton-Chalcraft.

We normally expect applicants to have successfully gained a masters award including completion of an educational research project.

In preparing and developing your application, we recommend you contact Dr Sally Elton Chalcraft in the Learning, Education and Development (LED) research centre for more detailed discussion of your research proposal. For further information about this or for other queries about the studentship, please contact Research Student Admissions for an informal discussion.
