About the Project

In this project formal political economy models will be tested in the context of Greek local government data. These models include electoral participation as well as electoral outcomes. The project requires collection and analysis of Greek local government data. This includes election results as well as economic/demographic information.


Funding Notes

Candidates are expected to have good postgraduate qualification with evidence of very good econometrics skills.

A successful candidate:
-will register for a PhD at the Economics Department of the University of Bath
-will receive a tuition waiver
-will be employed for up to 20 hours per week in teaching tutorials, depending on experience.

Candidates with excellent academic records will be considered for full scholarships by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
