About This PhD Project
Motivated PhD students are needed for an interdisciplinary European Research Council (ERC) project.

The WEAR33 Project aims to develop novel display technologies for next-generation human-computer interfaces and addressing some of the fundamental challenges in 3D and augmented reality displays.

Some of the current work focuses around:
- 3D Pico-projectors
- Head-up Display Screen
- Auto-stereoscopic Displays (HELIUM3D, 3DDUC)
- Pico Projector Applications

Fellowships are provided at two levels: ‘Standard PhD package’ and at ‘Super-scholarship package’, which is reserved for truly outstanding candidates. Benefits include a fully furnished room in a shared apartment near campus, which provides an easy transition to living in Istanbul.

Funding Notes

This project is available to students who have completed a BSc or MSc in a related field applying for funded PhD studentships in the Phd in Electric and Electronic Engineering or other PhD programs and may be altered or withdrawn.
