About the Project

A fully-funded PhD position is available at the CADIC, Psychiatric Center Copenhagen, Department O, Rigshospitalet, Denmark, on the Horizon 2020 TEAM training network (Technology EnAbled Mental health for young people).

The PhD study is intended to start spring or early summer, 2017.
About the ProjectPrior research suggests that smartphones can be used to self-assess, automatically monitor, and predict mental health in adult patients. However, the use of smartphone data in adolescents/young adults has not been investigated. The BIO-Young study aims to identify a composite smartphone-based electronic marker that discriminates adolescents/young adults with depressive disorder from bipolar disorder and healthy control individuals.

Applicants preferably with an MD (or MSc Psychology) with clinical experience within psychiatry and with an interest or flair for research.

You will be based in the world-class Copenhagen Affective disorder Research Center (CADIC) at Psychiatric Center Copenhagen, working in an excellent team of PhD students, Postdocs and senior researchers.
