About the Project

RNA viruses pose a significant threat to our wellbeing and economy. One of the most threatening is the influenza A virus, which infects an estimated 13 million and kills about half a million people every winter. This project will use biochemical and real-time single-molecule techniques to study and better understand the enzyme that drives the replication of the influenza genome.
