Project Detail:
Much work has revealed the gulf between Information Technology (IT)-as-planned in contrast to IT-as-implemented. However, there has been limited attention paid to the ongoing work by Chief Information Officers and senior executives in their continuous management of information systems (IS) where IS/Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) fail to, or partially deliver the intended results. This challenge is further compounded by long-established IS/KMS in many organisations providing a limiting context in which to undertake change. This research will be conducted using qualitative and quantitative methods and will involve the analysis of a live case study of a service organisation.

Entry requirements:
UK Masters degree (with average programme mark of no less than 65%) or International equivalent. English Language requirement of IELTS band 7.0 or above with not less than 7.0 in each component.

Funding information:
The studentship provides a tax free stipend of £14,553 per annum for the duration of the studentship plus tuition fees at the UK/EU rate. International (non EU) students may apply however the total value of the studentship will be used towards the cost of the International tuition fee.
