About the Project

The aim of work in the lab is to understand the mechanisms that govern normal epithelial tissue structure and dynamics. We use the intestinal epithelium as a paradigm for rapidly turning over epithelia. Our particular interest is to understand how molecular changes in the tumour suppressor adenomatous polyposis coli change epithelial cell behaviour and initiate transformation. The focus of a new project in the laboratory is to identify the function of newly discovered interactions of the APC protein we discovered in a proteomic screen.

Where will I study?
