About the Project

PhD position at the Institute of Physics of the Humboldt University in cooperation with the Neuroscience Research Center at the Charité. The project is funded by a DFG grant.
We are looking for a physicist with an interest in modelling and analysis of neurophysiological processes. The main topic will be on the application of nonlinear and stochastic methods to calcium signaling in neurons. A further focus is the creation and use of computer-assisted methods of image analysis. We require very good programming skills (possibly Python and C++) as well as an interest to collaborate with experimental neuroscientists.
