About the Project

A PhD student position is currently available in our group. ​An innovative high-speed broadband Stimulated Raman Scattering system
will be designed and set up in our laboratory, in the framework of a recently awarded grant, in collaboration with Prof. Giulio Cerullo
and Prof. Dario Polli at Politecnico di Milano.
We are looking for ambitious and self-motivated candidates to work on the set up and application of the Stimulated Raman Scattering
system, in a collaborative and interdisciplinary project involving radiation-matter interaction, nonlinear optics, ultrashort laser pulses, detectors, electronic instrumentation and finally investigating lipid dysregulation in cancer.

A Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Optics/Optical Engineering, Physics or a related field is required. Applications should include:

Financial Support​

All admitted students receive the benefits of the KAUST Fellowship which supports students for the duration of their graduate studies. The benefits of the KAUST Fellowship include:
