About the Project

The biomedical engineering research group in the School of Engineering, University of Birmingham develop novel design and additive manufacturing technologies by drawing innovation from nature and applying fundamental concepts to solve industrial and clinical problems. Design and/or manufacturing focussed projects PhDs are available, and may be tailored to the expertise and interests of the applicant. Applicants with good analytical skills are particularly encouraged to apply.
