About the Project

This PhD project will investigate the fabrication of PEMFC single cells by decal method and build stacks of 50-1000W for vehicle demostration. Based on previous progress, aligned nanowire electrodes will be combined with surface plasma treatment to develop high current density PEMFCs with an extremely low Pt loading (<0.125mg/cm2) at both electrodes. Based on the optimal process, the stacks will be built and test with Micro:Cab and scooter within the Centre for fuel cell and Hydrogen Research at the University.
