Johannes-Kepler University Linz

The JKU is an impulse center for science and the community and prides itself on a very distinguished international reputation. The university is the largest academic institution in the federal state of Upper Austria. The university’s core areas include the Social Sciences, Economics and Business, Law as well as Engineering and Natural Sciences.

The Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences (SoWi) is the only faculty of its kind in Austria to offer an extensive range of academic programs in the areas of Social Sciences, Economics and Business Administration. The SoWi Faculty has developed its study programs in accordance to national and international guidelines and quality standards.

The expanse of operations at the Faculty of Law (RE) extends beyond the national level. The program of excellence includes public, private and international corporate law. Due to a continual international exchange of law professors and students, the faculty’s expertise in addressing and solving legal problems is broadened by an added international focus.

The various academic programs and courses offered at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (TNF) is distinguished by a wide range of international research and development collaborations and close cooperation with industry and business. The individual institutes focus on base-knowledge and application-oriented research as well as hands-on, practical experience along with progressive education.
