The Francis Crick Institute

The Francis Crick Institute (the Crick) is a consortium of six of the UK's most successful scientific and academic organisations - the Medical Research Council, Cancer Research UK, the Wellcome Trust, Imperial College London, King's College London and UCL. The Crick conducts ground-breaking and interdisciplinary medical research to understand why disease develops and to find new ways to prevent and treat infection and illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, and neurodegenerative disorders. The Crick’s research laboratories opened in 2016, opposite the St Pancras Eurostar terminal in central London.

The Crick's PhD Programme presents a fabulous opportunity for highly motivated and exceptionally talented individuals to embark on their career in biomedical research.
Students on the Crick PhD Programme will enjoy a challenging project in a supportive environment together with tailored training in scientific and generic skills, to help them develop into independent scientists with good career prospects.
