47 Teachers and Researchers of the Social Sciences sector, and 56 Teachers and Researchers of the Experimental Sciences sector will teach and train 181 (*) First Level Degree Course Students, 136 (*) Second Level Degree Course Students, 303 Specialisation and Doctorate Students, 90 Master Degree Courses students and 1100 Postgraduate Courses Students.
These are the raw figures of Scuola Superiore Sant''Anna in Pisa, figures that make it capable of pursuing its mission of experimenting innovative paths in training and research.
These figures are further reinforced by the more than 660 research partners with which the Scuola has undertaken 595 Research Projects, by the 50 patents registered in the name of the Scuola and the more than 80 patents developed on behalf of external companies, by the 27 spin-off companies generated from 1991 onwards, by the 60 partnership agreements set up with Universities and research Centres in 26 countries and by 92% of its research activities being self-funded.
That is no surprise, since the quality, international reputation and results of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa, registered as a public University-Level institution under special regulations and operates in the field of applied sciences, are the natural result of the great attention the Scuola pays to each student, selecting them with a series of strict admission tests.

Economic Sciences, Legal Sciences and Political Sciences for the Social Sciences Class, Agricultural Sciences , Medical Sciences, Industrial Engineering and Information Engineering for the Experimental Sciences Class.
