The Department of Biochemistry is large, well-funded and well-equipped. It is situated near the historic centre of the city and offers a stimulating environment for state-of-the-art postgraduate research for the degrees of M.Phil. and Ph.D.
We have some 43 potential research supervisors, with about 112 postdoctoral workers and 130 graduate students.
The Department hosts the national 800 MHz NMR spectrometer and the National Centre for Proteomics.
