4 Year PhD programme in Regenerative Medicine

4 Year PhD programme in Regenerative Medicine

We are seeking to recruit to the final studentship on our EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Regenerative Medicine, to join the University of Manchester from September 2017.

The CDT offers cutting-edge multidisciplinary training in bioengineering, stem cells, extracellular matrix, inflammation biology and clinical translation. Our programme involves more than 50 leading research groups across the Faculties of Biology, Medicine and Health, and Science and Engineering.

The 4 Year programme will begin with 6 months formal training, with lectures, enquiry-based learning modules and mini lab projects. Students will then progress on to their chosen PhD project, and will have opportunities to extend their skills training by undertaking an industrial training placement and/or an international exchange.

Applications should be submitted online as soon as possible.

We welcome applications from those who hold or are expected to obtain at least an Upper Second Class honours degree in a relevant subject area. The studentships provide full funding for UK and eligible EU students; please see the website for more details.

For further information about the programme and how to apply see https://www.regenmedcdt.manchester.ac.uk/

Applications should be submitted before Friday 25 November 2016, 5pm.
Interviews will be held in Manchester on 9-10 January 2017.

Applications should be submitted online as soon as possible.
