18+ Studentships per year in Environmental Science

The Edinburgh Earth and Environment (E³) DTP, led by the School of GeoSciences at the University of Edinburgh, brings together 28 partners from the research, education, policy and industry sectors. These partner organisations enable us to deliver a world-class programme of PhD training and multidisciplinary research through provision of a variety of support including PhD supervision, training provision, CASE funding and hosting students through our Professional Internship Programme (PIP).

We continue to seek to attract and enable the brightest PhD students to address environmental challenges, providing flexible training in a multidisciplinary setting.

The E³ DTP has 18+ available Studentships with a minimum of 3.5 years (6 years PT) funding available to UK/EU/settled overseas students, who have worked or studied in the UK for at least 3 years before the programme starts. Fully funded three-month professional internships are available in addition to the 3.5 years funding.
