4-year Integrated PhD Programme

Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies

The Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies at the University of Bath is now accepting applications for the 2019 intake of its 4-year Integrated PhD Programme in Sustainable Chemical Technologies. To be considered for the first round of interviews, please apply by 12 December 2018.

Applications from excellent students, including those who are self-funded, are considered throughout the year.

About the programme

The programme will focus on the Circular Economy underpinning resource efficient and sustainable manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to undertake challenging research within the areas of Molecules, Materials and Manufacturing which will provide the training needed to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial and societal needs. You will lead the transfer of sustainable practices into industry and society in order to enable transition to a resource efficient, low carbon, Circular Economy.

Entry requirements

We invite applications from Science and Engineering graduates who have, or expect to obtain, a first or upper second class degree and have a strong interest in Sustainable Chemical Technologies.
