The Department of Computer Science are offering fully funded PhD studentships for those commencing their studies in 2016. Areas of interest include;

  • Audio-visual scene understanding
  • Speech, audio and language technology
  • Natural language processing
  • Mathematical and computational models of living systems
  • Robotics and human-robot interaction
  • Software verification and testing
  • Theoretical computer science
  • Computing for Sustainability.

The initial deadline for applications is 2 February 2016 but applications will be considered throughout the year until all scholarships have been filled.
