Anatomy Demonstrating Studentships

Available from October 2017 – Closing Date for Applications – 10 April 2017

One Anatomy Demonstrating Studentship is available from October 2017 for students undertaking a PhD for the first time at the University of Leeds. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have the necessary skills to undertake Anatomy teaching and will be responsible primarily for demonstrating gross anatomy, living anatomy and neuroanatomy to students of medicine, biological sciences and allied health sciences.

The studentship will cover the cost of the UK/EU academic fees. In addition, an annual maintenance grant will be provided (£14,726 for session 2017/18). The student will be required to undertake up to 250 hours anatomy demonstrating per year. The studentship will provide funding for four years subject to satisfactory progress during the research candidature. International applicants are eligible to apply, but will be required to demonstrate how they intend to meet the shortfall in tuition fees.

Information on the research projects available can be found here.
