John Innes Foundation Rotation PhD Programme in Plant and Microbial Sciences

“The training and development made it an easy decision to apply here, as well as the added bonus of the DTP internship. There’s so much on in Norwich too – it’s a great city to live in!”

“The strong research community makes it a brilliant place to start a career in science. I also have the opportunity to undertake the internship, allowing me to gain extra experience.”

All students will undertake an internship providing a breadth of experience beyond what can be gained through PhD research alone. Some of our opportunities are CASE Studentships. All CASE research students spend time with a non-academic/industrial partner and, in addition to experiencing the non-academic/industrial research environment, have opportunities for business related training. Building on our strong links with industry and our established successful CASE studentships, these offer a unique collaborative experience.

Funding

The 4-year studentships include a tax-free stipend, university registration fees and research/training funds.

Further Information

All opportunities are for October 2024 start. For further information and funding and eligibility information please visit us at our Norwich Research Park Biosciences Doctoral Training Partnership website.
