Nottingham Law School

Nottingham Law School is one of the largest full service law schools in the UK offering legal education at undergraduate, academic postgraduate, professional postgraduate, CPD and research levels.

Researchers in the Law School have interests in a diverse range of legal topics and use a variety of methodologies, both doctrinal and socio-legal. We have four established research centres in the Law School:

• The Centre for Business and Insolvency Law
• The Centre for Legal Education
• The Centre for Conflict, Rights and Justice
• The Centre for Advocacy

The School has strengths in several other areas, including Environmental Law, Sports Law, Health Care Law and Intellectual Property Law.

One distinguishing feature of research activities in the School is the significant extent to which many researchers collaborate with practitioners and professions. The School enjoys well-established links with regulators, professional bodies and associations and with other external agencies and institutions. These links enable the School's research to have real impact.

We have a lively group of research students, drawn from a wide range of jurisdictions and intellectual backgrounds. We offer focused and excellent quality supervision and our students have a strong record of completions.

The School's website contains further information on research projects and staff research interests.
