Fully funded joint PhD studentships in interdisciplinary STEM research

Supervised by internationally-leading experts from University of Warwick and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) in Singapore, this four-year programme focuses on interdisciplinary research projects in STEM areas.

PROGRAMME CONTENT

Year one: You will begin your research project at the University of Warwick.

Years two-three: You will spend the following two years in Singapore at a partner laboratory.

Year four: You will spend your final year at Warwick completing your research and writing your thesis.

WHY WARWICK?

We provide an exciting opportunity for students to grow as experimental scientists, undertaking research to the highest international standards whilst working for extended periods in collaborating laboratories at the University of Warwick and an A*STAR research institute in Singapore.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have a strong first degree (2:1 or above) or international equivalent in a relevant subject. Previous research experience is an advantage. This studentship is only available for UK applicants. More information can be found on our website.

STUDENTSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR 2024 ENTRY

Studentships covering full fees, consumables allowance, monthly stipend, return airfare, settling in allowance (Singapore) and medical insurance (Singapore) are available.
