Examine the impact of policies, strategies and interventions in Public Health with a PhD and be at the forefront of improving the health and wellbeing of individuals in our communities.

Health and Wellbeing Across the Lifecourse

Explore inequalities in health and wellbeing in the UK and internationally. Deep dive into welfare, health and wellbeing, ageing studies and health economics.

Health Behaviour Change

Develop new and evaluate existing theory- and evidence-based health behaviour change interventions, across communicable and non-communicable diseases; evidence synthesis of behaviour change interventions.

Health Economics

Conduct economic evaluation and systematic reviews of a broad range of clinical and health service technologies by providing high-quality applied policy-relevant research. Develop and refine methods to increase the rigour and relevance of such studies for generations to come.

Healthcare Management, Culture and Leadership

Work at the intersection of healthcare management, culture and leadership from an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach.

Sedentary Behaviour, Health and Disease

Investigate the relationship of sedentary behaviour with health and wellbeing, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions to reduce and break up sedentary behaviour.

Smart Technology Advancements in Health and Rehabilitation

Bridge the gap between clinical sciences, engineering and computing for sustainable developments in personal and community health needs.

Funding Notes
