What our students say...

"I worked as Principal Investigator on ‘Together Through Play Project: Facilitating Meaningful Play Between Disabled and Non-disabled Children', which is a research project funded by the Leverhulme Trust. The School offers an excellent research environment, which is enriched by a diversity of students from various backgrounds and disciplines. I meet my Supervisors on a regular basis, and they are generous with their guidance and support." Anne-Marie Moore, PhD student

"I applied to study at the University of Leeds because I wanted to work with specific academics in the School of Sociology and Social. My PhD helped me to gain my current research fellow job at Brunel, and I'm sure the Leeds name will be helpful in pursuit of lectureships." Dr Peter Hemming, PhD student

"Leeds has a fantastic reputation for Sociology and a thriving research centre and was recommended to me on a number of occasions. The support of my supervisors has been fantastic, they are both approachable if I have any problems and always offer really honest and constructive feedback and guidance at supervision meetings. I absolutely adore Leeds, it really is such a vibrant and diverse city and a really great place to come and study."  Laura Baldwin, PhD student
