About the Project

With catalysis being central to modern organic chemistry and hence underpinning diverse fields of synthetic application (e.g. medicine, materials), gaining greater understanding and control over catalytic processes is of significant importance. This programme involves the design of ligand and catalyst structures incorporating novel structural motifs that will be used to influence the reactivity and selectivity profile of these systems and as mechanistic probes.
