Prof R K Cramer, Dr Geoffrey Brown, Prof M Morris  No more applications being accepted  Funded PhD Project (UK Students Only)

About the Project

This PhD project will investigate novel applications of liquid MALDI MS in the areas of hydrogen/deuterium exchange for structural biology, native mass spectrometry, top-down biomolecule analyses and enzyme assay and kinetics measurements. In addition, further optimisation of the liquid MADLI ion source and its off-line coupling to other preparative techniques will be investigated with the objective to find the ultimate speed for entire workflows as needed in omics analyses or (bio)assaying. The project is partly funded by our industrial collaborator Waters Corporation.
