Project Description

Excellent, outstanding, stella students are invited to make an application to work in Prof Nguyen T.K. Thanh group http://www.ntk-thanh.co.uk
under GRS and ORS schemes.

Before you get too excited about this, please note there there 600 applications for only 15 successful candidates. So, if you do not have the requirement, please do not waste your time applying. Only short listed will be contacted.

Graduate Research Scholarships (GRS)

GRS website: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/scholarships/graduate/UK-EU_Res/grs
Graduate Research Scholarship (GRS) which funds UK/EU graduate fees + stipend ; and which can be combined with the ORS (see below)

Overseas Research Scholarships (ORS)

ORS funds the difference between overseas and UK/EU fees

English requirements: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/graduate/life/international/english-requirements

These schemes are highly competitive and the Physics department as a whole can only nominate their top 2 candidates across both GRS and ORS schemes.
