Project Description

Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD Studentship in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Enzymology under the joint supervision of Dr’s Moses, O’Reilly and Pordea. The project will involve the development of a Chemoenzymatic Semi-Synthesis of a potent and Novel Anticancer Agent. The students will receive training in Natural Product Isolation, Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Biocatalysis.

Candidates must hold a strong 2:1 or 1st Class Masters Degree in Chemistry or very closely related field.
