Responsibilities:
We are looking for an excellent and highly motivated PhD candidate for the research project TRIGGDRUG (ERC grant) with a focus on RNA-templated chemical synthesis with oligonucleotide conjugates. Project details: http://cordis.europa.eu/project/rcn/198219_en.html

The candidate should have a strong expertise in organic or bioorganic chemistry. In this project, oligonucleotide derivatives for template-directed (RNA) cleavage reactions will be developed and tested. Requirements:
University degree (Master or equivalent) in the field of organic chemistry or biochemistry with very good results. Ideally experience in the field of bioorganic synthesis (oligonucleotides, peptides, ligation chemistry), analytics and interdisciplinary research approaches. Very good English skills.
