About the Project

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated phD Candidate for the participation in a research project (DFG SPP 1623) with a focus on the synthesis of reactive peptide conjugates for peptide-mediated transfer/labeling reactions on living cells. The position includes bioorganic synthesis and analytics, biochemical investigations and teaching in organic chemistry. The objective of this project is to develop protein-based transfer reactions. The project includes organic and bioorganic chemistry and analytics as well as parts of the physicochemical investigation of the prepared probes. This position includes the preparation of a PhD thesis and teaching in organic chemistry.

Requirements:
University degree (Master or equivalent) in the field of organic chemistry or biochemistry with very good results. Ideally experience in the field of bioorganic synthesis and analytics.
