About the Project

It has recently been recognised that there is a need to further develop consultation skills for pharmacy professionals1. While students in undergraduate courses can access lots of support to develop their consultation skills, those in practice may have less resources available. This PhD project will explore the use of audio-visual resources such as videos to support consultation skills development. The research will include both qualitative and quantitative elements using various methodological approaches.
.
The successful applicant will have, or expect to obtain a first class, 2(i) honours degree or equivalent in health, education or psychology related subject.

Informal enquiries are welcomed; for further information please contact Dr James Desborough ([Email Address Removed])

The project may be available at an earlier start date of 1 April or 1 July 2017 but should be discussed with the primary supervisor in the first instance.
