About the Project

An applicant is invited for a self-funded full time PhD project to start in October 2017 in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham.

The project will be aimed to develop targeting delivery systems of the newly synthesized drugs in the treatment of cancers. The successful candidate should have at least an upper second class BSc degree and a good MSc degree in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering and biomaterials, pharmacology, pharmacy, biotechnology or a related subject.

The successful applicant will be based in the Division of Molecular Therapeutics and Formulation, School of Pharmacy at The University of Nottingham and join an excellent research environment with over 200 PhD students and 50 Post-doctoral researchers in the School. There are two EPSRC Doctorial Training Centres in the School funded by the UK funding body and international pharmaceutical companies (AstraZeneca, GSK, Pfize, Boots etc) and a BBSRC Doctorial Training Partnership at the University level. We have very significant resources available to support this research and provide world-class training for the student.
