About the Project

The antenna is an essential device for radio/wireless and radar systems and has been one of the most popular research and development areas for the past 20 years or so. New wireless systems are emerging all the time with various new features. Advanced smart antennas are required for these and future wireless and radar systems. This relatively new subject area has many challenges, including such as the development of small and broadband smart antenna systems using new material and designs, which is of interest to our Group which is one of the leading groups in antennas in the world.

Thus the proposed project is for the student to develop advanced new and smart antenna systems which will be small in size, but broadband in frequency and suitable for emerging and future wireless communications and radar systems.
