About the Project

Novel technologies for real-time non-destructive monitoring of activity of enzymes.

The project lies in the interdisciplinary area of chemistry, biotechnology, biochemistry and food research. It is focused on the development of novel methods for real-time non-destructive monitoring of enzyme catalysed reactions in solutions and complex dispersions.

The student will be a part of a multinational team of industrial and academic collaborators from EU, USA and Canada and will have the opportunity to use/travel to their facilities.


Funding Notes

Fully funded 4 years postgraduate research position at School of Chemistry University College Dublin.

Candidates should have a first degree or equivalent (e.g. 2.1 with relevant MSc) in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, biophysics, food science or other relevant subjects. The funding is available for EU nationals only.
